During the initial consultation, I will work like a detective taking a detailed history, tracing the nature of the disease until a precise picture of all the symptoms has been noted.
It is important that I understand what the patient was like before the onset of symptoms, what factors may have lead to or contributed to the alteration in the state of health and the changes in sensation and function experienced by the patient.
I will be very interested in all of the symptoms that the individual is experiencing whether or not they seem to be related, because Homeopathic thinking understands that symptoms do not exist in isolation but as a totality that expresses signs and signals of disharmony.
